MEET OUR PASTOR

Charles Anthony Baugh serves as the Pastor of Grace African Methodist Episcopal Church in Catonsville, Md. Previously served at Waters AMEC Baltimore, Ebenezer AME Church Baltimore and St. John AME Church Pocomoke City, Md. He is retired from the Baltimore City Health Department in which he served 28 years. He is married to Diane Baugh with two children Kimla Baugh married to Corey Terry, Jr, and Micah Baugh, Customer Representative for Comcast and four Grandchildren (Jadon, Erin, Corey III and Charli). He has preached for the Baltimore Annual Conference, District Conference and Sunday School Conference. He has preached in the First District on the Island of Bermuda and the Thirteenth District West Kentucky Annual Conference. He has presented to the Maryland State Department of Education Leadership Conference, Division for Early Childhood National Conference, University of Maryland College Park, Gamaliel National Religious Leadership Caucus, African Methodist Episcopal Church District Conference, Zero To three National Training Institute, Maryland Association of Community Action Agencies and classes at Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland Baltimore County, College Park and Towson University on various topics and studies around early childhood development and running an early intervention system. He serves on various community organizations and has been the recipient of various awards from grass root organizations. Rev. Baugh is a product of the Baltimore City Public School System, a graduate of Dunbar High School and Loyola College (now University) and studied at St. Mary’s Seminary. His hobbies include; reading, traveling and playing with his Grandchildren.
